Furniture Repair and Cleaning at Your Home

A tear in your leather sofa. An armchair that creaks. A stain that just won’t come out. Annoying, but rarely a reason to throw your furniture away.

At POS Service Group, we repair and clean furniture right where it is: in your home. No transportation, no weeks-long wait, no piece of furniture sitting in a workshop for weeks on end. Our own technicians come by with tools, materials, and expertise and take care of the problem on the spot.

We’ve been doing this since 1987. Today, we visit around 450,000 customers annually in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Benelux countries. From our office in Leeuwarden, we coordinate all appointments in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Here’s how simple it is

  1. You request service
Using our cost calculator, you can describe the issue in just a few clicks. A brief description and a few photos of the damage are all it takes to get started.

  2. You’ll receive a no-obligation quote
We review your request and send you a quote. No obligations, no surprises later on. You’ll know exactly where you stand in advance.

  3. You approve it, and we schedule an appointment
As soon as you accept, our scheduling team will contact you to arrange a time that works for you. The technician will let you know in advance when and at what time they’ll be there.

  4. The technician performs the service on-site
At your home, in your own living room. Our technician will explain what he’s doing, work neatly, and clean up afterward. In most cases, the job is completed in just one visit.

  5. You’ll receive a 2-year warranty
We provide a standard two-year warranty on the successful completion of our service. Should something unexpectedly go wrong? Then we’ll of course come back to fix it at no cost.

Two-Year Warranty: What Does That Mean Exactly?

Our warranty isn’t just fine print at the bottom of the invoice. It’s the reason we’re confident enough to perform repairs at your home instead of in a workshop.

  • Two full years. The warranty takes effect from the moment our technician completes the service (the furniture repair).

  • On the workmanship. If the repair doesn’t hold up or the work didn’t produce the intended result, we’ll take care of it.

  • No hassle. Just let us know, and we’ll schedule a new appointment. You don’t have to prove exactly what went wrong.

  • By the same experts. Our technicians are full-time employees. The same people who come back know the job.

We can offer you this assurance because our employees visit more than 1,700 households every day. They’ve already worked with every brand, every fabric, and every mechanism.

How can we help you?

Upholstered furniture
Sofas, armchairs, chairs, beds, car seats, and seating systems. From tears and wear and tear to sagging upholstery, jammed reclining mechanisms, and stubborn stains.

Wooden Furniture
Scratches, stains, damaged surfaces, loose or squeaky hinges. We restore the structure and surface finish so that the repair is unnoticeable.

Kitchen Furniture and Countertops
Damaged cabinet fronts, broken hinges, chipped edges on the countertop. Often repairable without having to replace anything.

In and around the house
Wooden floors, disassembly of furniture that won’t fit through the stairwell, and maintenance of office furniture.

3D Surveying
We measure kitchens, cabinets, sunrooms, garage doors, window sills, and bathrooms with laser precision. Down to the millimeter, so nothing goes wrong upon delivery.

Repairing Is More Sustainable Than Replacing

Every piece of furniture we repair is one less piece that ends up in a landfill and one less that needs to be manufactured from scratch. Overall, our repairs save approximately 11 million kilograms of CO₂ annually compared to manufacturing new items.

A repair is almost always cheaper than a replacement. And often simply more appealing: You get to keep the piece of furniture you’re attached to, instead of a new one that just doesn’t quite look the same.
